On our Windows 2016 instances on AWS, the long path names are no longer working. That is, the restriction of the file path length of 260 characters that existed for Windows Versions up to 8.1 / Server 2012R2, was released as of Win 10 / Server 2016.
When we set up our AWS servers with Win 2016, I’ve done the necessary configuration to enable long path names, as suggested here: https://mspoweruser.com/ntfs-260-character-windows-10/ Also, as per our users, the long path names worked fine until about last week. It stopped working out of a sudden this week, and I have no clue what happened.
Is anyone experiencing /aware of similar issues?
